WELCOME TO THE FRESSON TRUST

The Fresson Trust was set up by Captain E E Fresson, a significant and daring figure in the history of aviation. The Trust's objective is to promote aviation in the Scottish Highlands and Islands by providing bursaries to young people from the area who wish to pursue a career in aviation and by promoting the history of Scottish aviation and the part Captain Fresson played in it.

One of the ways that the trust seeks to further knowledge of aviation is in supporting people who wish to pursue a career in aviation through our bursary scheme. If you are a resident of the Highlands and Islands and would benefit from financial support towards qualifications as a pilot, engineer, or air traffic controller then please fill out the enquiry form.
Pilot training support is normally restricted to ground school costs associated with a commercial license, but exceptions can be made at the Trust's discretion especially regarding a PPL or ATC cadets who are just short of hours for the current Flying Scholarship
